Jeep Comanche - BUILT

My wife is pregnant with our first child so the MJ is forsale as I'm going to hopefully have a need for some more room in a few months in the flavor of a SUV.

The MJ is a one of kind creation that I built with the help of several friends and LOTs of time over the course of 10 months in 2009/2010. The truck started life as a rust FREE '90 MJ Eliminator that I found on a local Craigslist posting. A few weeks later I picked up a '99 Cherokee Sport that had been side hit on the driver's side as the donor vehicle. Everything from the B-Pillar forward on the XJ inside and out was transplanted into the MJ. At the same time the truck was painted Jeep Silverstone Metallic and the stock 4.0L from the '99 XJ turned into a beastly 4.7L Stroker motor by a local race engine builder.

I have a folder over an inch thick with reciepts that go with the truck. The truck is also fully OBII compliant as both O2 sensors from the '99 XJ and the truck has a high flow Magnaflow cat. The truck is titled and insured as a '90 MJ Comanche as I kept the VIN number from the truck.

The finished product is a MJ that can run 70mph on the interstate with the A/C and cruise control on carry you to a from some of the toughest trails.

The ONLY 2 items I have not finished are having the bed sprayed with LineX and adding a winch.

Price is $12,500 OR I will consider trades for SUV

Wow. This thing is awesome. So, unibody front and frame rear?

You are correct, from the front leaf spring bolts back the truck is a 2x4 boxed frame with a rear "X" crossmember that you can see in the picture of the rear axle. From the leaf spring mounts forward it's unibody. However the unibody has been plated and frame stiffners welded on the full length.

Great looking MJ.

Have you thought about some family friendly mods instead of selling it?

Assuming you can make the time..

Flippac with a custom sealed walk through, add a little internal cage for safety and a narrow rear seat, lose a little bit of bed space, gain family room.

Or......scare up a 4 door cherokee body and graft them together for a one of a kind oem looking MJ CrewCab! And slap a flippac on it!! :)

Anyways.....GLWS

Thanks for the complements and the ideas! If the truck doesn't sell I may buy a cheap '99 XJ and swap all my goodies back over to it so that I will have a back seat and 4 doors. :smiley_drive:
