Actually, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider she drove a Land Rover Defender 110. In the sequal she drove a Jeep TJ Rubicon, of which both brands came out with their respective Tomb Raider editions.

Clearly, Jeep is courting the all-powerful 18-35-year-old male market. I can't say they're marketing to me.
I think the last video game I played was "Space Invaders."
Personally, I thought the Jeep took too long to lose the 75hp UAZ, and I'd almost rather have the UAZ.

One of the guys in our 4x4 club has first hand experience with the UAZ back in the day... He said it was one of the biggest POS going. He may be jaded though - he runs all Gwagen now.

Well, compared to a Gwagen a brand new Range Rover looks not-so-shiny! I understand that the UAZ was crudely made, but pig-simple in design. You could fix the things with a couple of rocks as a hammer and anvil and some rusty barbed wire that you found at the side of the trail. The JK, not so much. I just miss simpler times where everything was much easier...in my memory anyway.

Yes, but with the UAZ you'd need to make that repair a few times a day (or so I'm told). It's not a vehicle to lust after.

Thanks TONS for posting this o so kewl JEEP ADVENTURE!

I thought it was a fun romp and didn't care about the obvious fantasy aspects of it

Side Note: Carolyn! I love your B&W shots in high places! If I ever learn what I am doing with my shiny new SLR I'll try to get some similar shots some day.
