I’m 6’-7” and a fairly meaty 340 pounds. For years I’ve been using a Strongback folding chair or something like a folding directors chair when camping in my SUV’s. However, both those chairs are just too bulky for easy storage and/or access in my Jeep. I’m looking for something that stows away in more compact form. I don’t know what the form factor is rightly called, but I call them “cassette” chairs because they remind a bit of a cassette tape when folded down. The old Pico chair was a good example of this style, or FrontRunner’s current “Expander” chair folds this way also.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a compact “cassette” style folding chair for VLA’s? (Very Large Americans). Something that has a 300+ lbs weight rating with long legs and a high seat back?
