Tooling around I stumbled on this video of an install to a Jeep. Might give some folks ideas on what to consider/do for installing mobile HF/VHF/UHF.

MY (note personal preferences) basic changes to his install...dual battery is a good idea if you run more than an HT from the car. Not a fan of the VHF/UHF antenna but your mileage may vary. Don't run the antenna in a metal box. Not a good idea as the antenna won't tune right. Get away from the metal car port and then adjust.

Really, really interesting despite the narrator being very, very irritating.

He did try to change it up a bit though via inflection. There was really really well. Really REALLY well. REALLY really well, and I think maybe even a really really WELL in there somewhere. Ditto for the very very goods.

I like Jeeps and I'm a ham, so overall I enjoyed the vdeo really REALLY very very much.
