Jeep JLU Moab Edition-pronounced ”Mallcrawler”

Interesting timing of your post. I had never heard of this edition. Yesterday my wife was trying to explain a Jeep she saw on the road. Thought it said MOA. I'm thinking it's just some geek printing minute of angle on his hood. Now it all makes sense. Yes, my wife thought it looked pretty hip.

Don't worry, plenty of Rubicons will end up as mallcrawlers too.

Other than the stupid MOAB decal I think this is pretty well balanced. Like Sahara interior with a near Rubicon exterior. I currently own the last cloth interior vehicle I will own. At least while I have dogs. My lab's and collie's hair stick to everything.

Jeep's special packages are generally overpriced though. Probably better to get a Sahara and swap out the bumpers.

Also I like that they finally gave (brought back?) the full time 4wd Select Trac. I've found the fulltime 4wd pretty useful during snow storms specifically.

Yep and I showed her that picture from the Sexiest Jeep ever thread. She said it looked bad azz and wished it would have came out a year ago. Now all I have to do is wait until my son gets his license so I can pass along my current vehicle. 10 years is a long time to wait though.

So much easier when your significant other is down with your vehicle choice. Mine is not only okay with me trading up from my Rebel when the new Power Wagon hits showrooms, but is also down with us getting a JLU Rubicon when my military medical retirement stuff is done as a 3rd vehicle. She is even willing to learn to drive a manual transmission if I want to go that way on the Jeep.

Good on you. We apparently both have a keeper. Lady wise anyway. And thank you for your service. Semper Fi.
