Has anyone seen information on this cool build yet?

I was doing research online and came across this build that is being done by Trail Benders Overland. This never before build will take a 50-year-old Jeep M35 Military truck, and make it look like a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Essentially it will look like a giant gladiator made by the world famous Jeep brand. The build is a custom one-of-a kind build that you can watch on the Trail Benders Overland (TBO) website and YouTube channel. Check out this teaser video that I saw on it:

You can also watch a live feed as TBO strips the M35 down and then builds it up to a monster gladiator. The live feed can be viewed here:

The build is backed by some iconic companies, and will be introduced at Easter Jeep Safari in 2021. I was also told that this will be submitted into the Guinness book of world records for the largest JEEP gladiator in the world.

Check out the links when you can!

Not a Jeep.
very true, as most WWII vintage vehicles built to win a war, the M35 was built by many manufacturers. Ford built more of the original WWII Willys Jeep than Willys did. But the M35 has no Jeep roots. On the M35, the duece name goes back to the GMC truck that preceded it.

REO Motor Car designed and built the first M35s.

If you needed a heavy overlander to travel the third world, the M35 might be a good choice since they have been the dominant truck thru out the world for the past 60 years. Parts and service, all be it used parts are all over Africa and Asia.

This video looks like the start of a very cool project.

I know Kaiser made M35s and cars along with Willys Jeep vehicles. If you call a M35 a Jeep then I guess a Kaiser Deluxe is a Jeep too.
Sorry for the confusion. This is being built to replicate a 2020 Jeep Gladiator.

Cool build idea hunh?
