No affiliation but it's pretty interesting.

22 foot motorhome built on a 1957 Jeep FC-170 chassis. This it a very unique and cool rig. Has Chevy 350, 4x4, 8000lb warn winch, propane furnace, A/C, duel fuel Onan 3500 watt generator that automatically starts when battery gets low, electric leveling jacks, oven, 4 burner stove, gas/electric fridge with small freezer, water heater, and a bathroom. Can sleep six.

I LOVE this thing. I wish I had the cash, because I would pick it up in a heartbeat (assuming it is in good running order.)

Not to mention it would fit right in with all of the horrifically fugly overland trucks out there. This thing would be like driving a Pug!

Hope someone finds this thing and takes care of it.

I love it too! FC's rock... and a camper version would be so cool to have. Dang, did you guys see the carpet in it? Don't drop a quarter you may never find it again!

Wow all the controls make it look like some 1970's spaceship. Wonder if it all functions? Pretty neat find.

Count yourselves lucky. Unless there were two of them, I saw it over the weekend and it looked like this:

Sorry the picture sucks. Took it on my cell phone. I had to stop and turn around to get the picture. I don't know who bought it but it's a good reminder to keep/buy/have a fire extinguisher.

Holy ******t. Hope the guy/girl had insurance. That's really sad. Where did it burn?
I once had a Travco and the fuel pump failed. It didn't fail enough to stop the engine from running but it was leaking gallons of fuel into the generator compartment. Luckily, I had left the generator running for the AC while we ate in a restaurant and saw the huge puddle of gas under the vehicle when we came out, otherwise it would have looked like that jeep.

Not sure where it burned. It didn't look like it burned where it sat. It was in front of some RV looking shop. Don't know what they're going to do with it. I was driving around about 4 hours from my house when I saw it. Small world out here I guess.

Looked like the fire started somewhere in the middle behind the driver seat. Stove or heater maybe?

WOW!!! What a shame, it goes from such a cool rig to a total loss in a matter of days

And to think I sat up trying to think of how to raise money to buy it last night:coffee:
