This will be underconstuction for awhile and thought, I'd start a thread. So, everyone can share thoughts during the build. Opinions are mandatory!:)

We have been camping and visiting offroad parks for awhile in the Jeep. It's always been me, my beautiful wife, and my sad dog, plus all our camping gear (tent, cooler, clothes, jackets, cooking items, I'm sure you get the idea). All this in the two door JK was just CRAMPED! So I sold my 4 wheeler trailer and purchased the Jeep trailer, and I'm very excited on many levels. I cannot wait to get started building the trailer but, of course money slows me down to a crawl. Getting ideas from you guys (that's you also girls) and, hear what the pro's have to say, good or bad would be very helpful.

Thanks everyone!:victory:

Just purchased my first trailer. I've been looking for a little trailer for about a year and finally found one on Craigslist. It was 300 miles away but, it's the one I'd been looking for.

Purchased the trailer from Just Jeeps of Texas and it even came with a spare. The condition is pretty good with heavy surface rust on the floor. No holes just heavy rust.

Congrats Jeepersjeep.. I look forward to your build as I'm just starting one now. Best advice I got was tear it all down and hall it to the sandblaster and start there. I found a sandblaster here in AZ that charges 200.00 a trailer.

Well good luck and enjoy cause this is fun!!!:sombrero::bike_rider:

I'm waiting to get a tent top before I have it welded up, so I can set the tent the way I want.

I purchased a cheap sandblasting gun from Home Depot.
We'll see how it works out. Not sure if it's heavy duty enough though.

Sandblasting test day.
It got above freezing Sunday so, I decided to try out my sandblasting gun I purchased from Home Depot.

The small part took about 8 seconds and the square area was sweeping the gun side to side at a fast pace.
Not to bad but, it's going to take awhile.

We had a small break in the weather here and got a little work done on the trailer.
The lid is 1/4 done.
I can't wait for summer so I can get this done.
Sorry for the bad pic's but, with bad weather come bad pic's i guess.:)

Sounds great! If you would send me some more info and I'll try and make it out there.
This weather has sure got me down. I've had so many problems in the last month and has cost money and lots of time. Looks like it could all be over with though. Hopefully now I can put the time and money in the trailer. If it turns out nice this weekend I'll finish the lid. I'm still throwing around ideas on what to make the lid cover out of. Fiberglass, tread plate, wood, just not sure yet.

Thanks everyone:victory:

Sick and tired of this...

One day of sunshine in the last 40 days? Snow on the ground for a month? This is Oklahoma, I need my sunshine! I haven't worn my winter woolies this much since I left Alaska! Bring on the spring sunshine!:victory:....supposed to snow again tonight....getting really tired of this crap! Thinking about moving further south... Hope the snow and ice hasn't got you in the doldrums also! I might just go live where sombreros are the norm!!!:costumed-smiley-007
