These cans are available if you guys look. Swissarmyvehicles has them right now for 15 bucks. Expedition-Imports probably has them too. Sonni Honegger in Chama, NM sells them by the pallet. Look around. I have a million of them and they were all less than 10 bucks a piece in excellent shape.

Yes, I was just about to reply to the "chappie" on this forum who
is asking for 30 of your "buck" things.... I can get genuine ex-British
army ones here for around 10 dollars, and I'm quite happy to paint
them myself.....:coffeedrink:

If you're in SoCal, American Army Surplus has pallets of them in Placentia CA too. That's where i get mine.

I dunno- I'd rather pay $30 for brand new than buy old ones for $10 and paint 'em, but I'm kinda lazy that way. I'd rather spend the time on something more important, like working on the truck.

I could buy them brand new in MANY stores while we lived in Europe for the last 4 years for about 15 euros. I just shipped 8 brand new ones back wiht our house hold goods. They are abundant in europe.

I was there not too long ago too. Most were however rusty (inside and out). I was able to find one that's not rusty, but the cap was bent.

FYI - Off Road Trail Tools (Expo Sponsors) has new Wedco cans and spouts - I just got a few spouts for my Wedco 10L cans.

The cans muddyoval (D.A.P.) is getting have been on order for months now. Don't think I'd hold my breath too long if you're planning on going that route.
