As a privite citizen, why would you actually use that durned thing?? A business might have to worry about a California eco-cop writing them a citation, but an individual in the boondocks can just leave the spout in the spare parts bin of their vehicle.

They sell really clean (look to be never used) NATO cans. I run 7 of them and they don't leak a drop.

I agree. I was just hoping that somebody designed a leak-proof/spill-proof spout that actually didn't leak from day 1! Also, they pour gas at a molasses slow pace!

So I just got two of these, no questions asked. I'm going to clean them up and give them a nice spraycan paintjob to prevent rust.
