JesseeS Build Thread-VEGAS

How's it going everyone. My name is Jessee, I'm 23 and I'm from Rhode Island. I have a 2004 Nissan Xterra with 98,xxx miles on the clock. I have owned this truck for almost 3 years. I have built her for trail riding, and as with everything else, once you start modifying, it's addicting. My dream is to one day have a mild exploration rig. By mild I mean, I won't be traveling the globe, but will venture through the mountains and woods. I love camping, and would one day like to have a custom built trailer to tag along with the X. Although the plans for the next year or so will be stock piling parts and doing a leaf sprung SAS. I have built her up pretty good, but I will update this post with little things I may do to her along the way. Here are some pictures from when I did my first mods (don't have any stock pictures, got too excited) to how she sits now. Feel free to ask any questions, thanks for stopping by!

Looks great! Lift, tires, bumpers, winch, armor, snorkel...what else could you need?

Thanks everybody! Yes I love the color, it's partially what led me to her when I was looking at 4x4 options.

I'm sure I could rationalize the need for almost anything haha Also, that snorkel cost $60 to make and is very functional. So if you want to save some coin and invest your money elsewhere (i.e lockers, etc.) Definitely head to home depo and snag some PVC

I'm digging the build. When I get home I will be doing the same thing, and cutting my fenders, I have to be honest, I think I am going to be a lot more nervous then you look in that pic. Nice X!

I agree. I would probably feel queasy the entire time the cutting wheel or sawzall would be in my hands lol.

I've accepted the fact my X is no longer perfect. Just have confidence in yourself and relax. There are always junk yards if you mess up! It builds character, just have fun! Thank you!

Thanks! Yes it wasn't as hard as I thought. Just used a Dremel with cutting wheel. Worked out pretty well.
