As part of a day trip to central New Mexico this past weekend my final stop of the day was the ghost town/site of Jicarilla, New Mexico in the Lincoln National Forest.

Not very many places creep me out but this building did for one reason or another but I still explored around it.
This was a good final stop for the day before making the 6 hour drive home, more to explore in the area if I ever return.

Some 12 miles northeast of White Oaks, New Mexico is the old settlement of Jicarilla where mining has been occurring as far back as 1850.
