JK gas blow back

Anyone with a JK having problems on filling up with their tank spilling gas back on you? I have seen online lots are having the problem as I did, I contacted Chrysler and since I am out of warranty I was able to have the tank changed and paid $100.

I also had this problem... and many others. I had a warranty and they fixed it on the second try free of charge.

Mine was about 2K out of warranty, glad you were able to have it taken care of..

If you search on the JK board over at jeepforum.com there is a large thread about this as well as at some of the dedicated JK forums. It's a known issue with the JK's. I've yet to have the problem with my 2010, but who knows. There is an effort to get the NHTSA to force Chrysler to issue a recall for the problem, but I doubt it will get legs.
