If there were any Toyos to be had around here, they would've been $208 each plus $15/each mounting, $2 disposal, $25 rebate, plus tax... or $1167.50 for 5.

Treadepot is local and shops will match their price.

That's pretty close to what I paid. Not much flexibility on the price of these tires. I guess when they sell like hotcakes, you don't have to bargain. Funny thing is, they were on sale when I bought them!

Nice truck, great tire and size. I like your TRD wheels too.

Thank you. I think this tire size is perfect. I'm glad I got the TRD wheels too. I had thought about powder coating them in black, but I do like the anthracite color.

Sorry you had the steering problems with them on your rig. They track perfectly on the Tacoma.

Thanks, I think they look good on the truck too.

I'm running 4.56's now, I think it's perfect.

There are so many rigs around here with them on, especially full-size, that I once thought they were kind of the bling thing to do. However, after talking with people, they really are a good tire.

It could be that the popularity is one of the problems Hilldweller is running into.

Yeah I have the 4.56's too so I should be good to go.

Whoa!!!!! $340.00

What a price.

Well, at $230 apiece that is a good price for these. Does that include mounting and balancing? I paid $261 out the door, including the siping. However, I sold my Duratracs for $800. That helped a long way going towards the Toyos.

The off-road shop can mount them but their process for balancing is the beads which have not worked well for me in the past so I am going to take the truck in for a alignment/balance somewhere else after I get the new tires.

Yep, if I could figure out the tracking problem with Toyos on my car I would be running a set, I think it may be AWD related. But after three sets it's not worth the trouble, and there are many other good tires to run.

The new tires should work out really well you. I sure am pleased with the Toyo MT's on my Tacoma, right now I have the 245's and will be switching to the 235's come this fall. I cannot believe the mileage I am getting out of them, yet still remain quiet on the highway with great traction off-highway. Mine have 27K in 14 months and still going great.

I'll have to check how much weight they took to balance, but I remember it wasn't really a lot. I hit 70 on the highway coming home from a visit yesterday and they are smooth. I was thinking of having my alignment checked but everything seems fine so I didn't bother. I am going to get my coilovers rebuilt soon, so I'll have it done then.

Good luck with the tires and gears!

I think you are right about the prices. I looked at a lot of vehicles and checked out a few shops when I was in OZ last fall. We really don't have a lot to complain about here. Did I mention fuel prices?!!

Hey, what are you guys running for air pressure? I know it's pretty different for every application but the guys at Les Schwab put in 32 psi. I thought that was a little low, so I put in 34, then 36. I think it rides good right now but I think it will take some experimentation.
