Got my Pine Tree 8 Turbo Tent a week ago and finally had time to set it up for the first time.

I do have two questions though....

What is the correct pole arrangement for the annex? You can see in the third picture that the pole has an odd alignment and doesn't seem correct to me.

How the hell do you fold these things?!?! I got it "folded" and everything is in the duffel, but it was like wrestling a pair of mating octopus'. The BlackPine Gods are surely laughing at me.

I agree with you on the annex pole setup, I never feel like it's setup correctly. We only had a problem with the annex falling once in high winds. I've though about making some kind of stake with a loop on it to hold the annex poles.

As far as folding it up, this is what I've found;
Buy a 4-6 foot Nrs strap,
Take the rain fly off,
Put the annex and awning poles in the bag,
Clip the annex up,
Collapse the tent,
Fold the tent and use the attached strap to secure the tent poles,
Now lay the tent on its side and roll the excess material all in the same direction and strap it together with the NRS strap,
Stuff the fat end (tent bottom) into the bag first (toward the zipper),
Zip 1/3 of the way then stuff the rain fly and stakes in.

I ripped my bag at the seam while zipping so I added a 3-4" strip of fabric to the bag and it made life 10 times better.
