July 14 day trip in the San Juan Mountains, Colorado

A group from the Western Slope 4 Wheelers did a day trip into the San Juan mountains near Ouray,CO. One Land Rover and 3 Jeeps explored Brown Mountain, Corkscrew Gulch/Pass, Velocity Basin, Minnehaha Basin, and Ross Basin. Had beautiful sunny weather as we explored these high alpine areas full of old mines, wildflowers, and still plentiful snow.

Very nice pictures! We were out there last week, and had a great time (including a snowball fight up at the top of Picayne Gulch!) I wish we could have stayed a month!
