Change the fluid in the t-case and tranny...
I second that suggestion.
On our 2010 Chevy AWD 1500 I took it in for its 5 yr checkup even though it only had ~33K on it. I figured its been my wife's DD for the past 5 years and needed something done to it other than all the oil changes. The shop was reluctant to do anything to it with the low miles but I insisted. When they ran the checks on the quality of the trans & t-case fluids the shop suggested changing the trans-fluid as it was at XX% (don't recall the % exactly). The point the mechanic made to me (not the shop manager who may not be in the daily know) is that he's seen the fluid life % typically not make the traditional ~50K life that GM/Chevy thinks it should make...and suggested that ~30 to ~35K is a good time to replace fluids. Soooo... I had them replace all the fluids just cuz they were already in there since the van is my wife's baby : )

Best wishes on the fix/solution.
Thom
