Just getting started, '99 4Runner

Hey peeps. I'm brand new to this forum and to the forum and to overlanding and I'm looking to follow a build on a 99 4Runner that would well suit me in a trip I'm planning from Alaska to Patagonia (that's the dream at the moment). I just bought a AluCab Expedition rooftop tent and that's as far as I've gotten. Will be just me and my dog, Penny. As we'll be traveling alone, at least at the moment, I don't know how hardcore I want to get in getting way off the beaten path, but some recovery equipment will be necessary of course. I've found some great gear lists on builds, but I'm really interested in following specifics on interior conversions: dual battery, fridge, storage, kitchen and the like. Any place you all can point me to to get started would be rad, especially if there's tutorials on the battery setup and interior build in a 4Runner.

I hope I'm not dup'ing another thread. Sorry if I am.

Thanks all. Stoked to learn and get out there with you all.

Hope it is not frowned upon, but check out toyota-4runner.org Lots of good 3rd gen builds there as well as a lot of good tech articles. There are a few dual batt write ups and rear cargo builds also.
Sounds like that would be an awesome trip!
Btw, I have a 96.
