Your 2.5Gen looks fantastic. What year is it? After owning it a month, what are your thoughts? What did you own before, and how does it compare? Did you solve the TPS fault? How are those tires on the road? Have you looked into the costs of regearing?

Thanks! It's a 99. I've never owned a 4x4 before so I'm loving it. The tps code triggering the check enginenlight was actually the gas cap not being properly tightened. The toyo's aren't too loud and they look awesome. Haven't checked or even looked into regearing to tell you the truth.

the next day it rained heavily so i decided to test my snorkel out with my 2 buddies.

Here's a friend's pic of me towing someone out. It was slippery as #%$ out there. Good thing I invested in tires.

After that I went thru the mud pit in the ohv pratice area at night and made it through and then went straight to the gas station.

All of them popped a tire bead except me.

Went to lake arrowhead/big bear one night to meet some friends who wheeled out there in the day. Night mission's are my favorite. It was awesome to do some snow wheeling in the dark. We camped out in the rain/snow.

Morning shots.

Notice anything?

Then I did a 3 night Anza Borrego, Salton Sea, Joshua Tree camp and wheel fest. We basically offroad from Mexico to Joshua Tree.

Wow, you still shoot film?? I just use my camera phone (LG Lucid) for quick snapshots or my "p&s" Sony NEX5N for nicer shots. I do have a dslr with lots of nice fast glass but like you said they can be a real bear to shoot with off road.

nice pics btw.

as for your question about noticing something, do you mean the Pajero badge?

yup, i meant the pajero badge.. haha i know its cheesy.

half the pics up there are from my iPhone. Haven't posted up my film pics yet, gotta go to costco and get em developed. Its fun shooting rolls and discovering images you don't remember taking.

The pajero badge was $9 shippped on ebay!

I got the expedition duty versions so they're pretty stiff. Don't really know how much lift they gave me exactly. They feel wonderful on bumpy trails you can drive fast on.

Great lookin' rig! Looking forward to the film pictures...Thanks for sharing.

How are the Toyo MT's (33x10.5, right?) working out?

There awesome for the most part. You gotta air em down in rocky terrain because the rocks will take little chunks out of the tire. Plus they fling rocks to the person behind you, when you don't tread lightly. I cracked a friends 4runner windshield when he was following to close. The tires are awesome in snow and rain plus there really quiet on the highway. My only regret in purchasing them was not getting the 12.5 versions.
