LOL, the mighty 1HZ is a loud clacker but she's uber reliable though. If you ever want to see my spare tire improvement/mod thing, let me know. You can barely make it out in one of the pictures I posted previously, along with the ATV winch for opening/closing the top.

Another improvement I made was to utilize the space above the axle housing by installing two ten gallon water tanks. I wanted to lower the tongue weight so i eliminated the factory water tank, and installed two ten gal tanks above the axle housing due to the huge amount of space my trailer had. Either the PO or Glen added an additional two inches of lift in order to accomodate 235 75 15 size tires. This allowed me ample space for the tanks. They had an equalizing pipe between each other and they fed a Shurflo on demand RV pump for the sink and shower. Again, lmk if you're interested in all of these mods 'cause i got a boat load of them!!!

So I've gotten word... She is ready for pickup! I'll be going to get it next weekend. I'm on a flight right now and have to finish getting the truck ready (24 to 12 volt conversion is coming along...)

But here are the last of the progress pics from the build.

My ARK trolley wheel and rear jacks have been incorporated. Trailer brakes are good to go. And my max coupler is just waiting for my new hitch bar... Approx level of ball (of course there is no ball lol) is 20 inches.

Pulled really well, even behind an HZJ77 Landcruiser!

Lots of room when opened. But next weekend she's going on her maiden voyage so I'll get some better pics of the tent part...

Sick wife, poor weather, and a pending garage gas furnace install meant we didn't get camping but it was an opportunity to do some mods...

First to go on was a DEEZEE truck box. Eventually this will house a diesel heater. Currently holds spare 5 pound propane bottle, ammo can fire pit, landing pads, impact gun, ropes/pegs, chocks, etc.

I had some room left in front so I decided to use a Stromberg trailer tray I had sitting around (without the legs since there's no external propane bottle).

This left room to mount a 36 inch high lift but stays low enough that the slideout truck kitchen isn't impacted and I can still jack knife past 90°.

Finally, I swapped the safety chains for cables

Big trip to the Maze soon so there'll be plenty of chance for testing then!

Awesome trailer! What are the overall dimensions? Do you plan to hit the Flint Switchbacks?

Thanks! Can't wait to get it out there...

Yep. That is part of the route. Wheelbase of truck is 107 inches (4 door 70 series) and the overall length of the trailer from coupler to rear edge of tub is 13 feet. 5 feet width for the tub. The wheels/axle are maybe an inch wider on either side.

So... It may prove interesting. Even a few of the obstacles on the way in on Lockhart basin look like fun? The PTO winch is probably going to get a work out. The trailer has a reciever hitch on the back so even a little pull from one of the fellas to straighten up my line could be helpful. We shall see.

This was built with challenges in mind which was why I had it fitted with brakes and installed a RedArc Elite brake controller on the truck. But I guess the only way to find out where it'll go is to give it a try right?

You're heading into my part of the world. if you wouldn't mind company, feel free to DM me and I might be able to join you if things line up at my end. I took my Kamparoo through Cottonwood canyon, Beef Basin, Dark Canyon, Lockhart Basin, and Elephant Hill on the same trip. Your camper is perfect for the task.
