Keeping critters from eating your wires?

Well, that sucks, given my plan for a Tundra parked outdoors! Anybody know if it’s really just Toyota’s? I’ve seen some comments that other brands have problems too as a result of wiring sourced from China?

I've been told by several sources that Mercedes Sprinter vans have a terrible problem with critters eating their wires if stored outdoors.

I have an 07 Tundra and would park it in knee high or higher grass a few times a year. After the second year of doing this I started noticing what looked like nests beginning to be built. Luckily no wire issues. So I started putting about 8 pieces of this stuff around the truck. I never had a problem after that, going on ten years of using it.

I have been using bait (injected in the burrows) at home for tunneling pocket Gophers, etc. and it’s effective if I keep on it. Will check this out.
