Quick hike yesterday morning (if you consider s 2.5 hr drive one way quick ) to Kendrick Peak Lookout just west of Flagstaff Arizona - RT is around 9 miles and an elevation of 10.4k.
Mt Humphreys in the background, highest point in Arizona at 12,633 '.
Kendrick Peak Lookout is on the summit in the middle of the photo.
Kendrick Mountain Cabin
The lookout
According to temperature reading I was getting off my phone (not the most accurate) it was 33*F at the summit with a feel like of 15*F with the wind factor in and I'll tell you what, it felt like it. Despite the wind and the cold it was a great hike and I'd do it again.
I was the only one on the trail and came across about 10 people coming up the trail at various points. Great day for a hike.
