Kenwood DNX Topo Maps

I recently purchased a Kenwood DNX6990HD in order to upgrade the current stereo in addition to having the option for uploading topos. However, I can't figure out how to do it with the newer model. There are many threads out there for older kenwoods and neither kenwood or garmin ever supported the process. Just curious if anyone has had any success with this?

This actually sounds pretty cool. I have been looking into Kenwood's Nav HU's anyway.
