Sorry, I guess I haven't checked this thread in a while.
Mine appears to be metal reinforced inside. I've stood on the rack mounted to the tonneau with only minor flexing, and I'm a hefty fella. I ended up taking it off though, found a full topper that I like much better.
Shh, it's not a build!
Yup. I've had a hankering for a set of captains chairs in front instead of the bench, but haven't found the right set yet.
The latest addition was a set of Coopers, ST Maxx in the 255/80r17 flavor. The BFG KMs were too small and too much tread for this truck and I needed something a little more appropriate for winter. Only a couple hundred dirt miles on them but I like them so far. A while back when I pulled the bed I took the chance to throw some cheapo Gabriels un the rear, but the fronts needed love to and I found a set of mildly used Bilstein 4600 that'll go under next time I get a chance. Scored a cheap hitch mount winch plate, so now I'm looking at a front reciever and scanning the classifieds for a cheap Warn. That's it though - no big changes, it's still not a build.

I'm envious of all the fun you're having so far. I have a hard Tonneau similar to yours but I took it off because I didn't think it would hold the weight. How much have you packed on top of it so far?

Great pics and a nice truck. This is making me change my mind about letting mine go for something newer, keep up the build progress.

Nice pics and maintenance log. Is the interior still as Ford intended?
