In preparation of our spring and summer trips I pulled out all my boys technical gear. Well, as boys are apt to do they outgrew it all!. Below are a few things I would like to pass on to others with camping kids. For reference my boys are 11 and 9 and weigh between 100 and 115 lbs and are both 4'8 and 4'7.
North Face Fleece and Jackets Combo (zip together) $40 shipped each set or $70 togeather
Both Jackets and fleece have been washed and are ready to go. They each have lots of life left but where used as they should be OUTSIDE. They each have a few small blemishes like broken draw cords and a few popped stitches but nothing major. All zippers work, there are no tears or rips, no funky smells and the waterproofing is good.

REI Comet Kids Backpacks (I have 2) $60 each or $100 for both + 15 shipping
These backpacks were used once last year on a backpacking trip in the Pecos Wilderness. Both are in excellent shape and have nothing wrong with them. All zippers work. These are great packs, I hate to see them go but my kids torso is about an inch too long and we have a 4 day backpacking trip late this summer. So I need to go up a size for comfort. Osprey Jet Daypacks $30 each or $55 together + $10 shipping
These two packs are in great shape but are pretty dirty. A run through the wash will have them good as new. All zippers work and there are no rips or tears on them at all. They served my kids everywhere from Big Bend, Grand Canyon, to deep in the Colorado Wilderness. These traps are well traveled but ready for more adventure.
