Kimberley Inspired Camper Build

Spent some time attaching the nose of the camper along with reinforcing the exterior seams with fiberglass tape and epoxy. The fiberglass tape becomes transparent as it absorbs the epoxy. Just need to make up the roof panels now.


Hooked up the the jeep for a test pull and photo.

Got the top fitted, and yes that is gorilla tape holding it on. Waiting on warmer weather before I can break out the epoxy.

We've had a wet winter so far. The rain and my days off have lined up perfectly so have not been able to roll the camper out to work on it. This weekend decided to start on the electrical distribution panel which will be mounted in the tongue box.

Ordered Hella fuse and relay boxes, Blue Sea bus bars and a main breaker/switch from Amazon. Got wire, ring terminals and terminal bars from Waytec.

The Hella fuse and relay boxes can be snapped together which makes a neater looking setup. Got everything laid out and mounted to the board.

Spent Saturday morning sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee wiring up the relays.
