Kindle fire

Is anyone using a Kindle fire hd and Gaia? I can't get my dual receiver to connect...should I nuke the fire and get a different inexpensive tablet?

I use a Lenovo Tab2 8", although the Tab3 is now selling. My Tab2 works great, built-in GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth etc. The Tab3 is about $100 with android 6 (Amazon)
