Kirsch's TRAX hunters maps ?

Has anyone tried these state maps, and can you comment on their usefulness for expedition driving? I am considering buying a new Garmin NUVI 27XX and am thinking about adding these maps for off-pavement use. I'm thinking the big 7 inch hi res screen would be most useful and easy to read when combined with these maps.....

Do they support auto-routing?

EDIT: According to an email reply, auto-routing will work fine on the OEM Garmin roads, but will not not work on any "additional" roads or features added by the TRAX map overlays.
