KK and KJ at Butcher Jones and Bull Dog Canyon - 8/23/08

Weird to say, but an 'old school' KJ (no ABS, no ESP, no descent control) and a new stock KK loaded with the above went out for a morning run.

Thanks AZKKPilotC182T for letting me try out the new rig. The descent control is amazing yet kinda takes the fun and pucker factor out of sliding down hills sideways :). Despite the stock rubber, climbing hills was also fairly easy with the ABS traction control.

It was good meeting the FJ troop out and about!

Good stuff. Are any of these pictures from Bulldog Canyon? I've never driven that one, and would like to do so.

Mark,

The last one is. Here's some more from BDC. Imagine our surprise coming across the painting on the rock. Weird. We ran 3354 (I think thats the trail number) from the entrance near the river and over to Bush Hwy near Usery. We didn't have time to try 10 which goes through the pass to AJ. I'm real interested in running that sometime.

Looks like fun Todd! I wish I could have made it. My work phone was ringing off the hook and I just wasn't able to make it out in time to meet you guys. Maybe next time.

HAHA that looks great. I love seeing stock trucks that you tend to think can't really wheel out there doin it. Great pics and it looks like a fun place to test a truck out eh.

Cheers

Dave
