I have a couple of these and have mixed feelings-my older ones that are "painted" have really just peeled and look pretty beat up, also have some rounding on the bottom of one-not sure if it froze or what happened-so for standard drinking bottle I prefer Stanley (my kids love Hydroflask-so call it generational). BUT-and a big but-is that I love the KK for camping as you can just set it in the fire -lid off-and heat water for coffee, tea, dish washing etc. The fact that they are single wall allows this. I also fill smaller ones with milk, etc. to throw in the cooler and they work great for that. Besides the color issue they are very durable.
