A couple that I know just purchased the Mrs. A new JK Unlimited.

So I had to make her a matching knife.

On a side note, I received an email today from a casting producer of my favorite TV show Forged in Fire. I have an opportunity to try out for the show. Should be a fun experience regardless!

FIF is a cool show - my son LOVES it, and it's gotten him interested in smithing (he's 10). I have him flattening spoons on a railroad track anvil for practice now.

They get some real unusual historic blade designs - I expect there is some prep to it, because I know a few metal benders and most of them are not so well versed in arcane designs of centuries-old blade fighters. They can identify a claymore from a long sword, for instance, but some of the asian designs are pretty unusual and particular.
