I completely agree. Sage advice for sure.

My only struggle with the whole MX vs Adv boots is the true "waterproofness" of them. I get the whole protection vs comfort argument but spend a week in the wet, muddy, cold mountains and I've seen guys give up due to exposure of wet feet.

Carry extra socks, keep those feet dry, at least that's what I preached for Uncle Sugar in the Army lol.
