ladder extension for rtt? need one?

I have a 100 series with FR Rack. I am going to pick up an RTT. Do I need a ladder extension? Currently, my 100 series has an OME lift and 33 inch tires...Any personal experience? Thanks again!

I am running ~33" tires and an OME lift on a 60 and I do not need an extension for my ARB tent. I've run it on my stock Tundra with a topper and it did not reach. However, I just used a couple of rocks and it was fine. DIdn't see the necessity in buying the extension when there is usually something around.

Not sure in your case but my 80 series with 33's and OME does. This is with a Canping Lab RTT mounted on Thule high clearance gutter mounts.

I needed a ladder extension with 33's on my 100. If I did it again I would figure a way to incorporate a telescoping ladder. Telescoping ladders are 10times stronger (biggest problem with RTT ladders IMO) and at under <20lbs well worth a couple extra lbs.
