Lagun table mount in Northstar(Texson) TS 1000

Sorry, some of those shots should have been rotated before posting but I think you can get the gist of it. First couple of images were intended to show how far the seat cushion extends beyond the base on the long side. It's not very obvious. The seat base wall where I mounted it needs to be reinforced before adding the table mount. Seems pretty solid after the reinforcing. Also puts the table nicely out of way over the seat when not in use.

I bought mine from svhotwire. I sent a message to Northstar to see if they sold them since the SVhotwire site showed them as sold out (even though they weren't). Northstar never got back to me.

Thanks for the link. We never have used the extra bed in 15 yrs and the stock table's always been too intrusive so the posts and table have been stored all these years.
The Laguna's pretty nice.

Got the pictures of the reinforcing rotated to their proper orientation.

For the NS650 crew that's the LP compartment/rear seat. However great job and better pics. just FYI. =brian

When I bought it, I anticipated that there'd be more feasible mounting location options than there were. The place I put it was really the only viable place. If you mount it on the outside of a seat base it interferes with sliding in and out of the seat. If you mount it at the forward end of the dinette it's kind of in the way when getting up and down off the bunk and it would be difficult to reinforce the base given the fact the water tank is behind it. So think carefully before purchasing one to make sure there's a good location to mount it. So far we really like it but we haven't camped with it yet. Heading out tomorrow for a couple of days so we'll see how functional it is. I already like the fact that it spins since it makes it much easier to get in and out of the dinette seats compared to the old table mount.

Ha! Spot on! I still haven't mounted mine for this exact reason - I can't settle on a location that is actually feasible. Good idea here, thanks for sharing.

Verdict is in. It's a quantum leap better than the original table post. We seem to like it best in an east/west orientation for eating/reading but the fact that it swings every which way is soooooo convenient.
