Land Cruiser 100 body trim ?

Total newbie. want to purchase a 2000 LC but it looks different than all the other ones I'm used to seeing.
I have tried to post a pic but cant figure out how ?
basically Im looking at a 2000 LC and it has what I'm calling fender trim around the wheel wells... it matches the color of the bumpers, it looks like it is suppose to be there
But all other LCs I see online have a smooth body all around the truck, so why does this one not have that same smooth body all around it ?
Is it some model I don't know about...it has the gold Toyota eblem on front ? does that have something to do with it ? its white in color with a beige type bumper and it has that trim piece that runs down the side of the doors ? just want to make sure im not making an offer on something that is pieced together from scrap or something weird ?

Some years had fender trim, and its common for people to simply remove it. Go on IH8Mud and do a search there. You will see its relatively common.

Gulf State Toyota distributors liked to put on those extra flares and add-ons. They are not factory accessories. If you don't like the look, the problem comes when you try to remove them and the paint is worn/faded in spots...especially in a 15 year old vehicle.
