Land Cruiser 200 with Fleetwoo Evo1 (popup) vs Mercedes Sprinter and Hybrid camper

Last month I picked up a Fleetwood Evo1 Evolution. Its a lifted popup, that is metal vs fiberglass (light duty off road)
I am planning on rigging up my New LC 200 (lift, tires, bumper...the usual suspects)

I had second thoughts when I saw a Hybrid type camper, and my buddy loves his Mercedes sprinter to tow his hybrid (18 feet)

I see advantages in that I am much more nimble and can better 4wd to get to more remote campsites. But the hybrid seems much more comfy once you are there.
I guess the Sprinter gets much better MPG and tows fine; plus they have 4wd now.

I could also just upgrade the camper, and keep the cruiser; but trying to weigh out the options.

Its hard to know what I will want, until I am on the road.

We mostly camp in the NC mountains now; plan on going out west next year and wherever else we can think of going...
We have not ever been to a campground, so not sure it the hybrid is great without 30amp power as they don't seem like they would have any air circulation....
Anyway, just starting thinking about the hybrid; would love for someone to share some thoughts as to advantages or either
