Bought a cheap canoe to beat around mountain lakes with. It works pretty well up there, but a 15' aluminum is a bit of a heavy **********.

Two photos from last week.

Left to right - my 80, Chris' 70 series pickup, Bob's diesel 60.

Chris crossing a playa.

Really bummed I missed out hooking up with you guys for a night. SE ended up missing a lot of the heavy stuff, but it still got peppered a bit.

Alvord desert in SE Oregon.

Was that over the holiday? We got a lot of local ranchers advising to keep off the desert floor from water, but it looks reasonable from your shots.

How were conditions you found?

I ended up more around Owyhee, N of Rome up as far as Cow Lakes / Birch Creek drainage. Was reasonable but still had some picking to do around that evil mud in puddles. Probably be pretty good traveling if the rain keeps away and the puddles get some dry time.

I hear if you drill a bunch of holes in it you can save some weight.

Sawyer- what year/series is that? very nice Toy- and pic. Cheers

Thank you!
As Spresso noted it is a 100 series. Year is a 2000. Mildly modified with a OME medium lift, 295/75R/16's, ARB 03+ combo bar, Superwinch EP9.0, Synthetic Winch line, Slee Slider steps, headlights upgraded to HID's & LED's.

Future mods include Slee rear Bumper with swing out tire carrier, Custom Drawers for the rear, Change out the rear medium springs for heavy springs, Some light force 240's HID's up front, Snorkle, and In dash Nav (kenwood to run topos).... Havnt decided if I will ever go with an aftermarket roof rack or not.....

And another Photo from that trip for ya..
