Land Rover Defender 200tdi - Uprated Turbo and Intercooler RHD

I bought this truck in the UK in June while back looking for trucks to import from the UK and Holland. I run a Defender rental business here in Tucson, Sonoran Rovers and I had this truck in mind for an expedition support vehicle.

I paid good money for this one as it needed nothing and was already set up with everything we need. See below.

The truck drives on a different level to any defender I have owned. Very fast and handles beautifully on and off road. I have about 4000 miles on it with no issues whatsoever.

I am loathe to put windows in the back and set up for passengers although I have put a forward facing lock and fold in there so I can take my two kids to school.

I have used this truck in the UK this summer, about 1000 miles and here in Arizona about 3000 miles or daily driver driving. Also used on a solo vehicle scouting trip to the RIo Sonora Valley and nearby mountains a few weeks ago. You can see in the pics. This is not a place to be alone with a dodgy car. I trust this vehicle and would take it anywhere.

200tdi - 99k miles - Used daily and will go up.
Double core Allisport intercooler (adds to power and torque significantly)
Silicone hoses
VNT turbo upgrade. (massive difference. This truck accelerates to highway speeds very quickly. Much faster than any TDI I have driven.
Castor corrected front and rear arms. Accommodates the lift and improves handling greatly.
New poly bushes
Terra firma HD shocks. These are great, perhaps upgrade if you are doing serious wheeling.
HD tubular shock turrets
New radiator with Kenlow fan
EGT gauge ( you need this with the upgrades - i rarely get over 500 C
Oil pressure gauge
Boost gauge
Raptor engineering dash
CB works properly
Wired for winch but it was taken off prior to my ownership
Snorkel
Spare wheel carrier
NAS style rear step

RHD

Needs door repair in the corners. I can do that for the asking price.

BFG 255 85 R16 255 85 R16s on decent wheels, I like the style. lots of life on the rubber.

23k USD

Also for sale on Defender Source. you can see a few more pics there. I'll add more here later.

I can add a front runner rack and any other overland gear at better than retail prices.

This truck is a fantastic blank canvas but I have 4 or 5 upcoming projects and am willing to let it go. If this sells before my Dormobile I'll keep it. Also have a LHD 300tdi Hi Cap pick up that I'm considering selling. And a couple of other TDI 90s. none set up as well as this though.

Test drives welcome. I can set you up with a multi day rental with this truck for 150 a day and if you decide to buy remove from the sale price. Again this is a high performing tdi and would suit an owner who intends to use it fully. I often get asked if TDI trucks I sell can sit at 75 mph for long periods on the freeway and while they can theoretically you are usually pushing them to their limit. this truck can happily accelerate to 85mph at which point its too loud and scary for me. You can cruise all day at 75 but bare in mind that MPG suffers at these speeds. It's still more pleasant to cruise at 65.
