Yup. Good eye. Those are UBER-RARE...especially the front one.

Holy crap, they were going to put one of those engines in that truck? Wow.

I know the guy referred to as "Uncle Bumbeck" in the BLOG and know he was pretty high on the project. Hmmmmm......I wonder what happened? Perhaps I'll shoot him an email.

I'd like it even better with that 2.6 gone and that twin turbo and some sort of beefy transmission/t-case combo. The axles could handle a lot, but the rest...NO WAY.

I'd be interested to hear their specs and plans. Too bad they didn't finish. Would be an amazing vehicle.

That's been for sale for a while on Craigslist... maybe it didn't sell so he took to the 'Bay to get more eyes on it. Neat rig.. local to SoCal too. I kind of want it, but the parts for it scare me... where would source them... plus 45mph on our long trips? i dont know. But then again ,its perfect size, not too big not too small.
