I think it's a perfect fit. A 1000 CA caterpillar battery from an 18 wheeler fits perfectly. A small extension for the ground wire, top mount posts, and a different securing bracket and you're set.

And if you relocate the jack there is plenty of room for winch solenoid, 60A aux cct solenoid, fuse box & relays for Hella's on the roof rack :Wow1:

The diehard PM1 is a popular battery for overlanders. A lot of us 4th gen runner folks have them too. Nothing but good things to say...

Optima Blue Tops are a very snug fit as well (Street Wolf's Rig...he is going to kill me for posting a dirty engine bay pic...lol):
Plus they have wing nuts for easy add-on power wires without messing with stock battery cable :)

Oh and LandyAndy....That is some of the nicest/best after-market wiring I have have seen in a long time...excellent job to you or whoever you had do it!!! (sorry I am just anal about if your going to wire it up you might as well take the time and make it look like it was there from the factory)
