You are right...October is the best time to go to YNP. It is a wonderful magical place...
I won't bag on the tourists anymore, when I travel I am a tourist. Thing is I don't stop traffic or try to pet the wildlife when I am a tourist! In fact when I travel I try my best to not be a menance to those around me.
