I don't have any current pix since I sold both my L.C.'s long ago. 50 years ago with their relatively stiff suspension they were known as, "gland bruisers". Here's my 1966 FJ-40 with Toyota factory PTO winch.; Pinion Mountain in chains CA winter 1970.
2nd pic Canyonlands, UT coming down Elephant Hill in June 1971, now in big bad orange paint. That little nino in the center is now 49 years old. The parents on either side are not. 6 months after this trip we had a daughter too and I sold the ragtop FJ-40 and bought a cherry, family friendly 1970 FJ-55 which we upgraded and camped out of for 15 years.
