Wow! Out of curiosity what kind of work did it need over the course of the 225,000 miles if any?

Really nothing outside of oil changes and brake pads. I was pretty meticulous (for me) about maintenance, oil changes within a thousand miles of when they were called for,etc.
The ONLY time it went into the shop was for the exhaust manifold bolt failure that plagues most hemis. Not really critical but my mechanics' wife took it as a personal vendetta to drill them out instead of buy a new head.
I traded it in on Dusty Bottoms, or Buffalo Bill, (because it's skin colored) running fine, just needing little things like a bad window switch and a broken stereo knob but 100% dependable. I haven't seen it, but a friend swears it's still here in town.
I'd been in land rovers (defenders, rrc, and discoveries), and land cruisers (40,45,62,80) for 20 years, not having constant niggling BS to deal with is an amazing feeling!! I know without a doubt I can walk outside and fire it up and it will get me where I'm going.
(After stopping for gas twice)

Wait a minute... how long have you been cheating on your 80 series!? (I ask because I just bought a 2500 as well)
Man... I'm always just keeping an eye out, but I found a clean Rover the other day as well as 128k mile, original owner fj60 for stupid cheap and passed them both on to other guys so I really think I might be done!
I've had them and they were great! This is definitely where I want to be now.
I like that in bed camper!! We're currently using an Intech Explore but when the kids are older that's the route I'd like to go.

We picked up an ‘18 with 14k on it last year and then I ran it down to Prescott from anchorage in Sept to get the habitat installed. Gotta love getting back from a trip like that and still managing to get it in for a look over before time out on the warranty.
Absolutely loving this thing both on the road and trail. Just working on the interior build out at the moment, and wanting to add a 20” light bar in the grill so I have a better chance of seeing the moose before they mess up the paint and sheet metal.

FYI... Dethloff rack and AEV vertical tire carrier fit together just perfect. Tubing size is the same and the powder coat is an exact match.

Here you go. Also the powder coat between the rack and carrier looks to be the same.
So it would appear that you could use the AEV spray they sell to touch up the rack over time.

A version of the PW that I heard mention of frequently, but seem to be tough to find in the wild: a Tradesman with the Power Wagon Package.
Managed to pick up this 2021 model for a fair price--bordering on a steal, given the current market--after a guy traded it in with only 7k miles. Definitely loves the gas station, but it's a hoot to drive.

Well with the rack install completed decided to test fit the Falcon XL I saved from my 100 series. Seems to fit pretty well.

How are you liking the Ram Boxes? What color is that? I'm having a tough time telling if it's Olive Green or a Granite Crystal...
