I did, for 5 months. She's in doggie heaven waiting for me by Rainbow Bridge. Loosing her was the toughest wartime memory I have.

This was the last MRAP that I was signed for.

I used to build these. If you zoom in on the front axle, driver side, under the D-ring, you'll see part of a stainless steel plate with barcodes on it. I ran the laser that engraved those barcodes.

This was my war rig! Well I started out being the mechanic on the ejection seats and the environmental control systems(ECS) and many other pyrotechnics on this aircraft. I then switched to the officer ranks after 6 years enlisted and was an Aviation Maintenance Officer (AMDO 1520). Did that for 4 years and decided to get out.

Pic is of my first squadron's display(CO's) bird. I spent many nights wrenching on this plane!
