Suburban update: 37's are on

s1.jpg

s2.jpg

My budget 2000 K1500 Suburban is slowly coming together. 37x13.5 in the rear and 37x12.5 in the front just went on to check fitment and it's a tight squeeze.

So far 2.5" level kit and 37's.
Next step is wheel spacers and a major fender trim job.

Enjoy

I've never understood why GM has been putting round tires in square wheel well openings for decades.

Tom,

I could not agree with you more. Ford figured out that the round tires go into round wheel wells, looks like I'll be putting F250-350 pocket fenders on the Sub once I get around to trimming some sheet metal.

When I was a kid we traveled all over the country and Canada in a 1979 Ford Econoline, only ours had a 5 liter gas engine. Dad kept it until 4 or 5 years ago. Darn thing could sit for a year, he'd go out and hookup a jumper pack to it and it'd start right up like it was a daily driver. I had a Mustang in the Army that sat for 4 months once, I wasn't sure if i'd get it started at all.
