looks liek a standard flat bed with some bars and canvas similiar to a 105. cool idea, dont know how the fabric would last during prolonged highways speeds though

x3 on sticky, nice burb, do much damage high centering it like that?

Took off all the paint on both drivelines, bent the transfercase skidplate, bent the bottom of the frame a little, creased the fender, bent the rocker panels, slashed a tire(not all the way through).

So, no damage!

Is that a M105 trailer bed or is it custom?[/QUOTE

Nope!!!
Its from a Deuce and a half (M35A3) Military truck. I got lucky because my truck bed is about the same width as the Deuce, So the cover and bows fit nice. I only had to cut 4ft from the back of the cover. :wings:

Stands up to highway speeds very well..As much as a 1ton can go that is. The cover is a rubber/canvas combo that is much like a Zodiac boat.

Square is better. There's a huge market out here for a no frills 4wd rig. Manual tranny, transfercase, hubs, longrange tank, skids, limited slip and I've gotta have A/C. Burnt up too many times in the past.

If Land Rover would bring the Defender back and price them according to the Wrangler it would sell like hot cakes.

Very nice Scouts, nice to see someone trooping on with one. I miss my Scouts.

Something to be said about full size pick-ups for rigs. Lots of room, good flatforms to build off of. No excuse for American steel. :ylsmoke:

Killed loads of otherwise useful time in the last couple of days looking through here. I'm in the market for a full-size truck or SUV, trying to figure out what I can afford and what I want- you guys are helping, but simultaneously are NOT.

Lots of neat stuff in here.
