Just saw this. You're correct it's a Norweld. Overall really happy with it but they come with some cautions for sure depending on year of truck. Feel free to PM me if you are thinking of one.

Been Lurking since 2016 when I had an Xterra (sold) but last August I drove solo 4600 roundtrip miles from New Jersey to Bonneville Speedweek in my 2009 Silverado. Totally stock Work Truck trim 4WD with Geolanders. It was epic, at least for me.

It was really weird driving cross country during COVID.

I plan to go back this year but will do more exploring not just the flats and racing. I did drive some of the dirt roads near the flats, I've never been so it was really cool.

My Avatar is me camping at the bend in the road at Bonneville. The other photo is sunrise on the salt. Does this count as overlanding?

Yeah, yesterday was 72*. It jumped RIGHT out of that deep freeze as fast as it could 'round here.
Time to wash the truck and get out there again. hah
