I just joined today! This site is excellent! I will be scouring the articles and rigs for weeks.
My truck is a Ram 3500 Chassis Cab with the 6.4Hemi and the Aisin Transmission. 4:44 gears and limited slip in the rear. I’ve done the tip of Nova Scotia to NC and a lot in between. It goes on the beach down on Cape Cod and I can honestly say I am impressed with the truck and camper. I’ve owned many Cummins diesels and I switched to gas. No regrets!A28DDAA7-58D2-4B90-B963-EAE1426A1AD9.jpegA28DDAA7-58D2-4B90-B963-EAE1426A1AD9.jpeg

What size wheels and tires are those?

Adventure Every Day
Specs on it?

2015 Silverado 1500 CCSB, LTZ-Z71 6.2L-8L90
It has a few performance upgrades like tuner, exhaust etc. It is quite powerful for what it is. She moves.
Full 6" Fabtech/Dirtlogic coilover front leaf rear lift including control arms in the front and air-lift to help in the rear. It has a remarkable ride quality on and off-road. On the road, it rides and handles better than the Escalade it replaced.
Cut and trimmed with Warn flares for 35x12.5x20 BFG KO2s

This truck has the kinda goofy GM 9.76" rear end. The gears are stock 3.42's and the 10mpg will testify to that. I daily drive this thing about 5 miles, it sucks fuel like its 1975.

It's got all the overlandy goodies in it that I pillaged from my trailer, some are specific to this truck.

So far I love it. I bought it and was building it for my wife last February. She passed away in October and I decided to hang onto it and sell my car. It brings me and the kids a ton of joy.

It's had a few issues in it's short life with us. These things have some notorious AC and drivetrain gremlins that I am still ironing out, but all told it's an awesome machine.

In its future are some maintenance, interior upgrades and a different wheel/tire combo. These were my wife's preference and while completely functional, they aren't what I like to look at, and let's face it, the only thing that matters is how cool it looks right :D

I'd also like to regear and lock it, but I'm trying to focus on my other truck in 2020 so we'll see how that goes.
