Is that the ARB universal awning bracket?

OA
Yep! Those tie down rings are frontrunner. Expected to have to do some sort of modification but there was zero.

Longer term I’d switch the hand tightened rings to nuts for security, but I mostly intend to leave the awning in the garage except for when I use it

Install some Carli magic on it.

Already in the plans. For the next 8 months I have a ton of work mileage coming up and a monthly membership to a brushless car wash a mile from the house that I have an inch of clearance on.

Once this job winds down we’re aiming for a 6 month sabbatical, and the lift/wheels/tires will come before that.

Carson City ghost town 11500 ft, I love where I live. I was told twice on the trail by UTV driving out of stater visiters I cannot get a mild build urban suburban over the rocks and up to Carson City. I guess they were right, I didnt see any other burbs or other full size rigs up there all day :)

My truck. Haven’t really done anything to it yet. Been accessorizing and doing my overlanding on my Honda Cb500x adventure bike. Hope to do some light mods to the truck though. Small level/lift then just get the boys out of the house and find some fire roads or easy trails up here in Northern CA to explore.

I’m getting closer to completion of the winch project. The control box is behind the grill, so I’m waiting on the remote extension. The synthetic rope has been ordered and the short wires for the battery/disconnect/fuse setup have been ordered. I’ll probably go out tomorrow and pick up the terminal connectors.

Ive been looking for another one of these tanks (in white) for awhile now, finally found one 4 hours north in farm country. 2001 2500, 4WD, 8.1L 4:11 ratio 136K miles, leather and loaded with everything including a huge VHS (yes you read that right) player under the back seat next to the DVD player. Scaled in at 7020 lbs empty... is getting better looking, see below, waiting on lift kit...
