Just got back from a great week of camping and wheelin’ around the Naches, Washington area with friends in the ol’ 92. What a beautiful area with a lot of fun, challenging trails.

Being from Oz, I never understood what a " full size" in the USA was until I opened this thread and realised I used to own one.
It was a 1984 F350 4wd. We had it about 12 years and sold it 20 years ago in favor of the current OKA.
Had a lot of fun and visited a lot of country in those 12 years. Learned how to get bogged too.

Here is our 2003 GMC Yukon XL Denali, Family explore and school trip maker. With 4 kids and 2 dogs, "Yukon Cornelius" has done great for us over the years. Plus it is pretty darn comfortable

Yeah I went up through Bishop. Are there other ways you can access it? Overall I thought the trail was fairly mild, just a few spots I had to take it slow.

Here's us several years ago slowly negotiating a road alongside a flooding river in CA going to/from a drycamping site in the forest. We are in our 24 ft. E450 Class C that we take carefully offroad here and there if required. I've since installed larger tires to give us more ground clearance:
